You took my hand and you placed it on your soul

you let me wander around your brain in search of something more.

You shed your skin and wiped your tears

And all this while I was stuck to the ground

Drowning in your fears

You opened your mouth and there was silence and what was found was my pain

You blinked away the ease, like a summer breeze

And here I am,

Waiting for the rain.
